Cycling

SOCN's Cycling Program is sponsored by Sunset Cyclery in St. Louis, MO. and provides our military, veterans, and first responders with another healthy way to get back outside, get some exercise, and enjoy the comradery they might be missing after returning from deployment, or after retirement, etc. Come on out and join us for one of monthly Social Rides! We have a great team overseeing this program! Stay tuned as we look to add Mountain Biking to the program for 2025!

Incense Journey

This program utilizes the ancient art of Incense Practice which is over 1400 years old. The Incense Journey was developed to assist veterans and first responders in addressing Post Traumatic Stress in their lives in the same way the Samurai class of 17th-18th century feudal Japan utilized the practice. The program is sponsored by Shihan Wellness and led by John Launius of St. Louis, MO.

Foundations

Sponsored and hosted by Brentwood Barbell, and James Harris, MPT. James has developed weight training and functional fitness programs for military and first responders along with Collegiate, Olympic and Professional athletes for years. His methodology is only matched by programs at the Olympic Training Center, the special operations community, and professional sports teams. Each session is coached Individually or in Small Groups.

Hunting

This program is sponsored and managed by SOCN Mentors and various Partner Organizations specializing big game, small & upland game, fall & spring turkey and waterfowl hunting. Any type of hunting requires complete "Focus in the Moment" to achieve success, which is why SOCN includes Hunting in our programs. Trips are available to numerous locations in the western states and mid-west regions.

Fishing

This program is managed by SOCN Mentors and various partner organizations specializing freshwater and saltwater fishing. Trips are available in both the mid-west and on the east coast during the normal seasons. Come on out and experience the fun, relaxation, and comradery associated with our fishing programs but also experience that "Focus in the Moment" to be successful in any endeavor!

Shooting Sports

The Shooting Sports Program was developed by SOCN's EVP Mark Quinn and various members of the SOF and Shooting Sports community with significant support from donors and sponsors. It was the foundational program within the "Find Your Tribe" Initiative and continues to grow across the U.S. and directly supports the "Heroes Day at the Range" program along with SOCN's Shooting Sports Ambassador Team.

Humble Warrior Wellness Center

SOCN and Humble Warrior Wellness Center are partnered to provide specific services addressing mental health, alternative healing methods & modalities, and financial assistance to support attendance for current military, veterans and first responders that need these awesome services prior to participating in our other "Find Your Tribe" Programs.

Old Man River Nature Retreat

The Old Man River Retreat is a unique 42-acre facility located in the Potosi, MO area that specializes in supporting our military, veteran, first responder communities and their families. The retreat provides services including peer-to-peer counseling, suicide prevention, organic lifestyle mentoring, natural remedy education, meditation and relaxation techniques, reiki and energy therapy, organic gardening, and more.
